Book discussion followed -- although we all really liked the book, we found our opinions were quite divided on the true nature of Graces character. We discovered that all the conflicting opinions active voice historical Grace, as presented by the press of the time -- that she was manipulative, that she was a simpleton, that she was guilty, that she was innocent -- were all represented by our group as well.
